Offering customers great Italian food has long been the hallmark of the Losole family in Omaha, Nebraska. Their restaurant, LoSole Mio, has enriched Omaha’s heritage and has been a destination for restaurant patrons for over twenty five years. Growing up in this environment, in addition to the knowledge he acquired after graduating from Tony Gemegnani’s Inter-national School of Pizza, has taught David Losole well.
This inspired David to open his own restaurant, Virtuoso Pizzeria by David Losole, in Benson, Summer of 2017. His pizzeria serves up artisan pizza the “New York way” – one slice at a time.
David has been invited to speak and demonstrate at the largest pizza exposition in North America – The International Pizza Expo, held in Las Vegas, Nevada March 19-22, 2018. At the expo, David will show how to hand open a 20” pie and will also share his knowledge of restaurant flow, what it’s like to leave a successful family business, and other practices that have allowed him to bring the true slice house concept and his own unique style of pizza to the Mid-west.
David’s session will be held in the Demonstration Kitchen on the Exhibit Hall Show Floor and will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday March 20th, 2018.
